you have NIx ranked 5 and you said 5 will go top 20
Again take note that there's a gap between my #4 (Maye) and #5 (Nix) ranking. There's a real possibility that someone else could impress at the combine or declare for the draft who would supplant him at 5.

Talent gap between SEC and Pac 10 ??
Without question, the PAC 12 was T.H.E most competitive conference in the nation in 2023!

Here is the take on Williams

Doesn't have the prototypical size for the position standing just 6-1 and weighing in at 215 lbs - may be an injury risk going forward especially considering his play style

At USC Williams plays in a simplistic offense mainly consisting of one-read concepts. His performance in a traditional pro offense is uncertain

Has played exclusively in the shotgun - at the moment he would be a work in progress as a dropback passer

His mechanics are hit-or-miss and his footwork needs cleaning up - although most of these issues are hidden by his arm talent

Williams tends to hold the ball loosely and away from his body, putting him at risk for strip sacks.

All the QB’s have weaknesses if you look at them

Yikes! don't like that report at all. Not for #2 overall. Would you agree Maye looks the most pro ready right now?

If there is no clean prospect at QB for #2 we have to think twice. If the OTs are cleaner, it's a safer pick with or without a trade down. We can't get this pick wrong.

We will be taking qb because Sam isn’t looked upon as a building piece. We need to keep JB and the smart thing is look at qb in round 2 and pick the BPA at 2

No problem with that. If these QB's have huge flaws in them at #2. The BPA at #2 will be OT. Just a hunch b/c if the Bears keep Fields, they will select MHJ at #1 overall unless they get a huge trade offer. If this happens, we could get a huge trade offer to trade back. If they do go OT at #2 overall, they could always look to trade back into Round 1 with our extra picks. This is if they are not sold on any of the top QB's in the draft.

Alot of different scenarios could happen here.

I agree and because they all have weaknesses, their greatest chance at success comes when given time to correct those weak areas of their game.

The ONLY tradeback that makes sense moves Washington from #2 to #4. ( possibly 5 depending on what Chicago does)

I am willing to bet no one here will say Sam is our guy . In fact the only one close to saying he is , is me and truthfully I think it’s 30 to 70 that he is . I wonder why he stopped running

Your opinion or are there any facts that can back up that claim?
You are correct sir!, but only because measuring competitiveness is subjective. Make no mistake the SEC is still the better conference in all college sports, but you'd have to admit that this was somewhat of a down year in terms of competitiveness. That said, here's my support for claiming that the PAC 12 conference was the most highly competitive during the 2023 college football season, and there are several factors including:

1. Depth of Talented Teams: The conference had a depth of talented teams, with Washington leading the pack. The overall record of the teams, roster talent and depth, coaching staff, strength of schedule, and offensive and defensive efficiency were all taken into account.

2. Close Standings: The standings were quite close, with teams like Washington, Oregon, and Arizona having strong performances—this close competition among the teams added to the competitiveness of the conference.

3. Coaching Changes and Improvements: Teams like Stanford and Arizona State saw coaching changes and improvements, which promised a new age for their football programs. These changes brought about transformations in the teams, making the conference more competitive.

4. Strong Individual Performances: There were strong individual performances across the teams, contributing to the competitiveness of the conference.

**Please note that the competitiveness of a conference can be subjective and can vary based on different metrics and perspectives. The factors listed above are some of the reasons that contributed to the competitiveness of the PAC 12 conference during the 2023 season.
