I may like Moss better than Williams... I prefer we draft Daniels.
Comments from USC QB Miller Moss after USC defeated Louisville 42-28
After the game, Moss reflected on his dream first start but made a damning statement that fans assume was aimed towards some of the players departing the school. Moss brushed off his own performance to highlight what it meant for the whole team and suggested that some players don't share the same togetherness.

"I don't think it's as much about me as it is about the team," Moss said after the game. "The emphasis is really to come together as a team. No ego, no individual. It's all about us as a team bonding together, and that's what we are to focus on moving forward."
Moss acted as Williams' backup this season, with freshman Malachi Nelson the third string for 2023. Although Williams is on his way to the NFL, Moss isn't assuming he will lead the Trojans next season as he said: "We play a difficult sport, I play a difficult position, it’s hard to win football games at this level – it has to be earned." "And if you turn and run or whatever it is at the first sign of adversity, you’re never going to grow as a football player or as a human being as a whole." Moss never considered leaving USC even though his playing time was impacted by Williams, as he said back in December: "Coach Riley’s been very candid and open with me. "I mean, been competing my whole life, so – let’s go."
