9-3 team and wow, those numbers!

He also has now won the Bednarik award for the nation's best defensive player and he was named AP 1st Team All American (as well as about 10 other All American teams). I can't emphasize enough how much fun it is to watch this kid play defense. He just finds the ball on every play. He either makes the tackle alone, or he assists another teammate.

I think the reasons are the 4-9 record, the sacks, the interceptions, the stigma of being a 5th rounder, the prospect of never picking this high again. An elite QB almost always delivers success and playoffs.

If they new GM feels Howell is elite, that's perfect. If the new GM thinks Maye or Daniels is elite and Howell is not, there's the rub.

The two spot is the dream scenario.

Fields finishes strong. Bears are probably calling us to see if we want Caleb. They won't want to go past two because they wouldn't want to risk Arizona taking Harrsion Jr.

If the Bears hold on to the top spot, everyone is probably calling us trying to get Maye or Daniels.

If the Skins want to hold on to #2 they'd have their pick of Maye, Daniels, Harrsion Jr., or Fashanu.

Going to take a Cards win and probably two Pats wins, but maybe just one.

We need teams that we've already played to start losing to bring down our sos%.

You never know when you have a high pick and QBs are involved. For QBs it has not worked out well for Washington .... Snead played a long time but was not worth the high pick. Of course that is why we got Jurgensen.

I know little to nothing about Joe Alt. Because I am a Penn State homer I know about Fashanu. A solid LT is nothing to sneeze at. Sadly under Dan he had two in Samuels and Trent. I'd like to have another that can play 10 - 12 years with a much better team than the other guys got to while in Washington.

Im not opposed to offensive line, but we had Trent and Scherff, Chris and Jansen, and it really didn't amount to much.

The one time we had some hope was 2012 when we had a dynamic QB. I'm hoping Sam is that. That would make a lot of things and decisions much easier for the new GM.

I was not for the trade to get Griffin. It actually worked out Shanahan drafted insurance in Kirk. Still wasted picks on that trade up to get Griffon.

Long story short had we drafted Hebert or Tua it probably would have been a shit show. This organization just chewed thru players and never maximized talent when they did have it.

I am just going to roll with what the new FO is and does. I want to give them a chance.

look you need to be good at qb and you need to control the LOS to win . the new FO will probably go qb and in my opinion it would be a mistake bryce younging a new qb . you cant act like this is the only qb draft ever to come forever and ever , thats when you reach and do stupid things

i am not against trade downs after round 1 or picking a qb in round one under the right conditions

we dont know what we will do in FA . what o/lineman are available in FA ? i dont think you can sign 4 good o/lineman in fa but i also think you dont have to go o/line in round 1 either . round 2 and 3 are also in play there

i am not resigning anyone we have to a big contract curl , AG , samuel , none of them only a reasonable offer will i give them . i am certainly trading allen and most likely payne and throw mac in there

daniels is a twig people just like stick figure forbes and williams isnt going to do that stuff he does in college at a pro level . he will get sacked numerous times because he holds the ball too long

those things above are my opinion , not fact , and i am fully aware that a new regime will want their guys and guys i think we should keep wont be

New England has two elite o-lineman in Brown LT and Onwenu LG but the Pats have a bunch of money. Still, we might be able to swipe one of them.

I'm with you on the vets. There is no one I wouldn't trade if the return was right, McLaurin and Allen included. Don't think we could trade Payne even if we wanted to. Cap hit would be massive.

My hit rate is about 60/40 with QBs. I've been wrong on some QBs, but I said on draft day that Haskins wasn't it and got some pushback on that everytime he completed a pass. Daniels is intriguing. Very thin, but he did what he did in the SEC. Those guys play on Sundays.
