CeeDee already said he wont be holding out & will be reporting to camp
A lot of guys "said" a lot of things. Let's hope that is true but he really only just made a general comment on the topic so far. Unless I missed it all I heard was that he stated the following and that's not really specific with regards to reporting and practicing in the offseason: “Winning — I’m looking forward to winning and being out there with my guys, and making another run at this thing,” he said before circling back with his proclamation. “… Yeah, I’ll be in Dallas!”

I think part of this is what you consider holding out. Personally I absolutely don't expect him to miss any regular season games but that isn't the whole picture. I think he signs a deal at some point before the season any way because I think we know we need to give him $30M plus and I think he is looking to get that signing bonus in the bank. But, I don't expect he will show up for OTA's and may not show up for mandatory mini-camp or perhaps will be there but work off on the side. My guess is he will be there for Training Camp and if so I don't really care about the earlier stuff, but if he misses all or part of TC that is a problem.

I would be more than happy with 2 Horns DT's, 2 Horns WR's, a Horns RB, a Horns TE and a Horns OT from this draft. They have a lot of good kids in this class.
Not me. Just the DT and maybe the running back. Nothing else from that school.

You talking Murphy as the DT? I think Sweat going to drop. Sweat could drop to the 5th or 6th round. Brooks looks like real potential . He does have that injury history though. Brooks has damn good vision and knows how to use his blockers. Very impressed with Brooks.

Either Would start for is day 1. Either DT would as well
The RB would for sure. You probably right about the defensive tackles also. I do think they go OL round one. Murphy probably gone before 24. Sweat better not be the pick in round one..that would piss me off. The value around pick 24 going to be OL or WR.

Yeah, I'm not saying round 1 for anyone but Murphy, but they have a ton of kids protected in the top 75 players

Murphy would be great. I think he may be gone. I detest drunk Drivers. Pass on Sweat.

Sweat I would only draft in the 6th or 7th round. I would assume there are some teams that removed him from draft boards. I do think he would help against the run. I got a feeling that the Cowboys won't use a pick on him after the Josh Brent fiasco

Bottom line for me.

Nut Crunch Time is Playoff Football. This is where STRIPES are earned. I see Diggs making a playoff tackle in the SF playoff game on the Kittle TD. Lamb showing what HE showed all day against GB. Then there is Dak melting as the game unfolded.

and next....Parsons. Oh Boy! Great player in the REGULAR season too.

Am I the only Cowboy fan here that see's the off season lack of effort talk as possible. Does Parsons prepare like other past Cowboy greats? The fucking brands seem supreme among this teams leaders.

we really need a guy like Gilmore in that locker
This roster is a mess. Especially the depth at CB. The DT position is also a problem right now and especially in 2025. They could have used that 4th round pick

we have picks 24, 56, 87

and then we wait 86 selections for picks 174.

then 216, 233, 244

seems to me trading back and gaining a pick has to be in the plan.

They probably try to do this. They need a trade partner and much of that depends on which players are on the board. I still think you go BPA which may be a receiver. I think somebody good drops due to all the QBs that may go before 24.

I got a hunch they want an offensive tackle. Possibly one of the better ones drop, but I see a low chance that this happens.

well...if only Lamb hadn't shown his cry baby self in the last game he's played.

i could see it.

Timing remains everything.
I am happy we have him, but he has some critical drops at times. And did not show up in that Greenbay game.

LB is a huge need.

kinda like Cedric Gray (NC) at 87 maybe Edefan Ulofoshio (Washington) at 174
RB is also. They got to hopefully get a LB and RB day two. We will see.
