Looking like it. Skinner comes in and gets the shutout. They ran his stats through the 3 games he's played before tonight, and he was literally at over 5 goals against average and like a .590 save percentage.

Edmonton really controlled the game, but Vegas had 3 PPs in the 1st and plenty of chances to do something. Couldn't solve Skinner in their most important game so far.

Good to see healthy and rested Kane play zero regular games and be 100% for the playoffs. Scored another huge one tonight.

Caps/Canes series is weird with ex-Kings all over the place. Walker, Roy, Dowd, PLD. PLD with the late penalty with about 5 mins left. I saw he had a secondary assist on the Chychryn goal, but I can't say I've noticed too much of him in the series. Blake is a retard for giving up so many pieces to get him, but at least he sacked up and moved him. I really don't miss PLD. Miss Vilardi and Iafallo more. But that's not beating Edmonton either.

The only one I truly miss is Walker, he was underrated here.

Traded twice for first round picks, Bowlby had to throw him into the Petersen deal to get out of that horrid contract he dished out in the first place. Would have let Clarke stew a little more in the minors and more reliable IMO.

Seeing all these ex Kings still in the POs is disheartening knowing Blake messed up so bad.

Not sure why the oil didnt just come out and attack....thats their game. They hsve looked like the better team still and Vegas doesnt look like they can set up anything...bad passing little drive not much teamwork.

The thing is their depth is winning games, not McJesus and Draisaitl.

It's still so stunning to me that LA literally had them on the ropes and choked it away. Vegas didn't even have a shot at knocking them out. Hiller the Series Killer.

So, PK Subban and that crew had a decent breakdown of it all. I guess Vegas' main issues when they lose is actually that they don't score enough, which Edmonton obviously has no problem with. So Edmonton came out super defensive, knowing Vegas would push, and Oilers would still get their chances on countering. Basic said it'd be setup for Oilers to take it in OT. I don't know 100% if that's what's up, but that was interesting.

Vegas sort of deserves this. They ran billboards all over Edmonton when Oilers lost with .4 seconds left. What's funny is it's Edmonton, so they said something like 130 billboards was only $5k. So some law firm from Edmonton rented this truck to troll Vegas as they left their arena.

Knights are in trouble IMO. Lot of 30+ big dollar guys, futures gone going for it all, no pipeline.

I admire their management for always going for it but it looks like its finally going to catch up with them. They weren't in this series at all.

The funny thing is Stone was hurt during the series and not before it.

My guess is Holland pays Marner, his days are # in Tor. Always the scapegoat, he never will play that PO game snd his backchecking at times is brutal if not non existent. Marner with Kuz and Kempe could work and do regular season magic....but playoff time, oof

Biz called him "Mitch the Bitch" last night and highlighted a back check (or lack thereof). Hilarious.

I don't think Holland will get Marner, my guess is Boeser is the guy he is targeting. Marner is completely overrated but will get paid, I just hope it isn't LA.
