With the way the Nuggets almost blew at one point was a 20 point lead I’m definitely not as confident going in the game 2. Neither team has lost at home this postseason but I wouldn’t be shocked if the Lakers took Game 2.

I picked Denver in 7. Neither team is so much better than the other.

So we’ll see how Denver comes out in Game 2. Either they will get in their own head because they almost blew a big lead at home, or they get energized because the Lakers tried to come back and got shut down whenever it got close. I believe the only time the Lakers lead was when they scored first to make it 2-0.

I’m still never going to feel comfortable when they have a good size lead but the fact that they didn’t cave under pressure when the Lakers came fighting back shows they’re at least a more mature and different team than they were even last year.

As I said on Page 1 remains confirmed: We win either Game 3 or Game 4 we going to the finals.

And they’re not my second team. Get over it. After ten years on this board it should be a non-issue by now whether or not the Nuggets are my team.

And after my dad passed on Super Bowl Sunday I damn well will use my newfound cash come June on team memorabilia if they do in fact win the title.
