Christian Wood signed for 2 years, $5.7M with the Lakers.

Ever since the Pelicans waived him in 2019, he's always been high on my undervalued list, in terms of his contract.

I couldn't believe the Pistons got him off waivers then. Nor how cheap he still is now.

Logo Lillard has some antlers.

There's a Nurk Alert in Phoenix.

Is it a Holiday in Portlandia?

The Mavs did subtraction by subtraction. They missed the playoffs after they played Wood less.

@@Justin Zanik: Can you get Holiday without hurting the future too much?

He's be the best guard on the team, and could probably play with Sexton.

What do you think the best Jazz starting lineup should be?

I don’t know but I probably like Dunn more than I should, but oh well. I liked DeShawn Stevenson and Dante Exum, too. So I’d start him though I shouldn’t. Not sure if we need Clarkson to pick the bench up but I do feel unless he likes it, good performance shouldn’t be pushed to the bench, though distribution of shots, minutes, and other factors contribute to good basketball.

There's nothing wrong with it. That's why I asked for your opinion, because I want to know what you think, not what you "should" think.

So do you want Clarkson starting or coming off the bench?

I think Horton-Tucker could be a PG. He's young enough where he could be one, if given the chance.

I don't think Sexton is one.

I know Dunn is one.

I'd like to try Horton-Tucker at PG, and if that doesn't work, then go with Dunn.

And, to discuss a topic you posted about a few weeks ago, I don't think Malone or Stockton or both would have won a title with the 1998-2002 Spurs. They're too old.

Maybe in 2002 - 2003, once both Parker and Ginobili were on the Spurs, but it might have needed to be carried over until 2003-2004.

Yes, in my scenario, the Spurs would have had Malone, Stockton, and still drafted Parker and Ginobili. Since they were late picks.

I also think it would have helped your argument about how awesome Malone is, if you had said Malone would have won a title with the Spurs, but not Stockton. Although I'm unclear what time period we're talking about. I think we're talking about 1997 - 2003.

If you're referring to an even earlier period Spurs, then the chances increase, because Malone was even younger. Maybe we could have had Rodman and Malone on the Spurs, or Strickland and Malone on the Spurs.

In fact, it would be even cooler to say Malone would have won 3 titles with the Spurs from 1997-2003, although we might have to expand the time period a little bit earlier. Let's have Malone on the 1995 Spurs, that won 62 games, beating the Rockets. (The same team both the Jazz and Spurs would lose to).

I see Malone averaged 30 against the Rockets in 1995, but shot 46%. I wish he had shot 57%.

And Stockton only averaged 1 steal. :(

I like how Boozer averaged 53% in 17 games in the 2007 playoffs.

Malone played 16 games in 1992 playoffs but shot 52%. I wonder why they lost to Portland in 1992. I was surprised in 1999 when Portland beat Utah.
