Always find it funny when reporters get criticism for doing their exact job

It started with an idea to write about my years as a Sixers fan, wandering in the wilderness of futility but I have too many stories to tell. It’s now morphed into an unapologetic embrace of the fact that I’ve been able to learn more about life and the human condition through sports than I have through any other aspect of my life or my formal education. I have 4 chapters down and about 45 pages. I just like to write and during the summer I have the time. I’ve always dreamed of writing the great American novel but realize now that I’m just not that guy. Every time I start I fucking hate it. So now I’m following the advice I give my students when it comes to writing: the classics come when an author writes what he or she knows and has experienced. Others may find it silly and frivolous but the diversion of sports is a big aspect of who I am and what I’m all about.Interesting.
Are you in the process of doing a book about the Sixers, the NBA in general, or working on something totally different? …ie: a memoir?

Smarter than giving anything to Harden for sureRockets may offer FVV $40M per for 2 years?
Raptors focused on re-signing VanVleet and Poeltl but challenges remain
The first meaningful few weeks of the off-season went nicely for the Toronto Raptors but now comes the hard part: reaching deals with pending free agents Fred VanVleet and Jakob Poeltl.www.sportsnet.ca
This story reminds me of what we saw in Philly when we lost Jayson Werth. The Nationals offered him an outrageous 7 years and 126 million. Everyone knew it was an overpay but that’s what that franchise needed at the time to signal that they’re serious going forward. Rockets are in need of that image repair after tanking. Sixers had the same deal in the JJ Redick overpay a few years back. That’s what this is. They know they’re overpaying but that’s what it takes for them to get in this game.Rockets may offer FVV $40M per for 2 years?

Welp…fuck me right in the asshole. If you don’t hear from me again it’s because I drove into traffic.

Slightly drastic reaction to a bad free agency offer by your team.
But I get it.

Hyperbole is my jam. Shouldn’t joke about something serious like suicide but we all know I’m an asshole so why change now haha. That seems unsmart.
I don’t want to give up on Springer. Dude is super young and has made growth in the G league. He’s starting to add catch and shoot to his game. I think he’s exactly the type of player that fits the way Nurse wants to play.I mean you can’t be shocked
He took less to help them get pj and house, time to recoup
Philly needs to aggregate house springer and other salaries with that one pick to land that missing piece at the 3
