7 for 44

Harden had 32 points on 29 shots

Trevor ariza laying a major goose egg killed them

Blaming Ariza on a team with Harden and CP3 is like blaming last night's Giants loss on Matt Breida.

If I remember right he took a lot of treys though and was colder than ice.

That’s #3/4 on a title team money

It's only 15-16% of the annual cap moving forward, not crazy money given where the cap is headed. Teams are smart to lock in the players they want to keep now before the cap expands significantly, lock in today's prices.

Then why couldn’t he find a role with the Lakers if he can still ball? He’s not leading the league in assists now for any contender. He’s not averaging 21 a game for any contender. Right now Harden is way better than the corpse of Russell Westbrook.

10x the cost for Harden, he better be. Still can't build around him. If that's the qualifier necessary to feel about Harden, yikes.

Yep...those were his numbers with the Clipps though.
So you mean those were his numbers when utilized properly?

Once they cracked down on his foul hunting bullshit those numbers came way down. There's a reason no one wants this guy.
Yep.

And as bad as RW was with the Lakers he found another team pretty quickly.

The thing that blows my mind the most about this guy is he doesn’t even try to hide what he is all about. Ever heard him say how badly he wants to win? Me either. To say he lacks competitiveness is a huge understatement.

Yeah, RW's problem was more about fit and not being able to/knowing how to adjust than anything else.

As bad as he was, the effort was still there every time he was on the floor. Can't say the same about Harden.
