Lmao what is wrong with this guy? @thunderc @Mecca @fightinfunbags

My guess: James is saying when he took one for the team last year, he was told we got you.

My push back: if he was convinced he was promised the bag then why did he and his agent leak all that Houston shit starting the morning of the Christmas Day games last season.

The two conditions aren’t consistent.

Or I heard one floated on the radio: Morey would have given Harden the bag but Josh Harris and Sixers ownership said nope. I would think that if that were the case that Morey would have already been fired earlier this summer.

If that's true, praise to Sixers' ownership

He isn't a horrible player. Just not a max guy anymore and unfortunately shrinks too frequently in the playoffs. I think 35 mill on a short deal isnt horrible but doubt he would go for it.

3/105 or something like that

I’d go even lower. I was saying the other day 3 years 75-90 million with the last year a team option. Outside of the basketball, he’s made himself a toxic asset right now. That costs you money.

Even if he accepted that deal, he would be scheming to find his way somewhere else before the end of it. Not worth the headache IMO.
