Ron Harper Jr has some Luka game in him. The kid does not look like he is in great shape. Somehow he gets by you, overpowers you and makes it look easy. Summer league but still
I'm definitely among the many who temper comments with "it's Summer League" but don't we consider strongly how guys look in college games when we determine who we want in the draft and who will succeed in the NBA?

Might be wrong but would think there is usually more talent on a summer league court than college (and it's guys fighting to make a living).

He is 27 and in his prime and you must have missed the massive contracts just handed out this summer to the other players....younger than KAT.
Oh someone might do it, I hate to see the TWolves get bailed out on their stupidity.

Not a great salary but for a team missing one piece to be a contender they will take the risk. The fact that he still needs to grow up is a bigger issue in my mind. I think Minny wouldn't trade him bc their expectations on a return are way too high.

There isnt a single NBA franchise that wouldnt have signed Towns to the exact same extension.

He is 27 years old (26 at the time he signed the extension and coming off an all NBA season) and already one of the best scoring bigs in the history of the league. It really is just him and Dirk as to who is the best shooting big in the history of the game.

Towns has some really obvious weaknesses that are frustrating. But dont twist it. He is an absolute star in the league. If the Wolves do trade him, it will work out a lot like the Wiggins trade where Towns will go somewhere else and look a lot better than he did with the Wolves.

Townes is absolutely an asset, and not a bad contract.

He just isn’t worth the haul of picks Minny stupidly payed to get Gobert.
And he would be a good fit on NYK or Charlotte....just to name 2 teams off the top of my head.

If Minny doesn't demand a lot of picks? The Knicks could be back in talks to get him.

There are a lot of teams that Townes could really help.

Ideally would be a team with a strong culture.

He is a very good player, just seems lazy. Not the role model you want to be your #1, but a really solid 2 or a great 3.

I’d play him as a 4 alongside Embiid. Problem is, Minnesota would want more than Harden and his expiring money or Harris and his expiring money.

Didn’t Embiid and Simmons put him in a Compton police chokehold a few years ago?

Like, I’m not even exaggerating.

They had him in a rear naked choke….lol

You are right. I shouldnt have typed scoring bigs.

Best SHOOTING bigs of all time. That is what I meant. When Towns hangs it up in 7 years or so it will be him and Dirk are the best 2 perimeter shooting big men up to that point (with a lot of the young guys pushing them for that title sooner rather than later with the way the league is changing).
