Sure Minnesota has 3 max contracts, but only 1 of them is worth it, so in another way they only have 1 max contract.......I am struggling to warp this into a positive. Not even I can summon the delusion.

I am actually kind of sad. I always knew Wolves are poorly run, but I could always come in and pretend like brighter things are in the future. I don't even have that since the Gobert trade. All I have is to jump in and make fun of my own team because their is nothing to hang my hat on. Edwards/McDaniels/Reid is a solid trio, but all the crap decisions all but guarantee that group will be done with the Wolves before it could be anything. No draft to restock, just no future.

I have always been diehard basketball, with other sports when I had no basketball. Wolves have destroyed it. I am not even sure how much I would enjoy them turning it around and winning a championship at this point. I have been a life of being a fan, and at this point I would still feel like a bandwagon fan if it somehow all worked out.

End of serious, more random shit talk in the future.

Trade KAT to balance the roster.

You need a ton of shooters to make Rudy playable.

I feel your pain, I am a Browns fan. You just have to keep up hope.

My hope is a creep will win a SB for the Browns

Need KAT and Gobert gone. Reid is the best fit and won't break finance. They can get rid of those 2 and add a third star they have a solid team.

Yeah I mentioned that earlier this morning. They have to trade KAT now when his value is sky high.
Is KAT's value high? His defensive limitations now define him as much as his ability to score, and coming off an injury. I don't think you get a solid haul back for him at this point. My dream would be expiring and draft picks. Same for Gobert...minus the picks.

Yeah, you aren’t finding a taker for Rudy without attaching a shitton of assets.

Sadly, you gave most of them away to get him in the first place.

There are teams that will give you stuff for KAT.

Well it is pretty high but we aren't talking a mega package. I think he would be a perfect fit for a lot of teams and they could get a package of a young player, expiring and picks.

Problem is Gobert, I think you could expiring contracts for Gobert but like you said, no picks. Who is dumb enough to trade for him though?

There is a small window in 2 years where Gobert shifts to an expiring, but the window only opens if Edwards is not already done with them. To get through that window you would need a GM that does make the trade for Gobert in the first place. The window never even Opens if KAT is on the team.
