More quick FA thoughts;

Bulls really gonna run that squad back, huh? Maybe they'll get involved in some trades later and push out Lavine or DeRozan but they should have tanked for Wemby and they need to tank now. Have fun running for that 9 seed.

I'm interested in seeing if #HeatCulture can revive Josh Richardson. Miami has been like the only place he was good. He's been living off that first stint with them ever since. Every team he's been on its been "We got Josh Richardson!" then a few months in its "Oh...this is it?"

Not crazy about Cam Reddish. It's a vet min flyer so its really no cost but the book is out on him. He's a talented young player that refuses to put the work in. Multiple teams have tried and all have the same result. I would rather see what other vet min guys shake out over the next coupe of days than sign Reddish on Day 1. That's a signing that could have waited. Did you lose Jae Crowder's number? Why not take a stab on him on a vet min first?

This is why I hate those max deals for guys coming off their rookie contracts. That's entirely too much money for a guy like him but as the market goes with the way the NBA is structured, you basically have little choice but to give it to him. I generally don't like the concept of a max contract in general but these "mini-maxes" the younger players are eligible for really irk me.

I think I said earlier Draymond getting a 4 year 100m deal sounded like it was in the cards. Ended up being on the money. Just made sense. 25m per isn’t a huge legacy overpay.

He is worth that.

GS is old. But they could have one more run in them if they can get to the playoffs healthy.

Like the Chris Paul addition.

Slightly off topic but y'all member this song back in the day and it applies with the money being handed out in FA and these guys getting these massive extensions.

I don't know what they are wanting. no one out there was a franchise changing guy anyway and it's all useless if Ivey and Cade don't develop further. After this year Detroit should have a better idea of what they have and they've added 2 guys who can actually make a jump shot which only helps Jaden and Cade be the guys who break down defenses.

I'd assume we will see some kind of minor trade with Killian and Bagley or Wiseman if the price is right.

Hoping the money disappears quickly and we get some quality guys on the vet minimum out to prove themselves on a 1 year deal.

More teams have cap space next offseason.

@Stakesarehigh

Yesterday when the Pistons acquired Harris a lot of people were like WTF?

Read that the Pistons want to see where they after 1 season under Williams and what their needs are....guessing they have plan on dealing Bog and Harris will replace him as their shooter....

Makes sense since next offseason is a deeper FA class.

I hope Strus falls through for the Cavs. Not really interested in him. I do not see what the fuss is about.

After Wolves sign their 2nd round picks they will have 15 and be just under the luxury tax. Seems like they are done after day 1 and want to run it mostly back.

If they have better health luck this year I think they could go all the way up to the 6th seed for a gentleman's sweep! Way better than the same thing from the 8th seed.......

Stop it

You said nobody would pay him close to that.

And you know it.
I think it ended up kind of in the middle of what we thought. Without Dallas being in the situation they are he would have not had options it seems.
