50% 0f $10k or 50% 0f $10mil...What's the difference? You're still losing half of the income that you earned.50% taxes on a $10 Million salary is not my definition of "being screwed".

What does Massachusetts offer me that Tennessee does not?
So you are not an elite athlete or rock star or big business upper management, so you are not in that income range. But if you were and you had the chance to earn $10 mil and take home $5 mil vs earn $10 mil and take home $6.5 mil, why leave $1.5 mil on the table? Maybe not for CEO's or Rock Stars, but NFL athletes are one hit away from never earning the remainder of their contract.
