I'm 50.
Never seen a FA like this. And been seriously following FA for at least 22-23 years.
I want the Raiders to ink him to a deal!!!!!!!!!!Kinda surprising there has been 0 news on the Stephon Gillmore front.
When Gundy went on that explosive tirade, I had nothing but extreme respect for him and wanted him to be the coach of my team. In recent years though, he's become a whiney, bitter douchebag that doesn't have a fraction of that fire.
I have wanted the Raiders to ink him to a deal.
But you look 50?I'm 46
Funny for most of my military career I refused to wear a ball cap and wore my beret instead because I looked like a 12 year old with a ball cap when I was 30.But you look 50?
If you look like that I apologize for any offense I caused you.
This is a good trade for NE IMO. I am not a big fan of Parker, but for a team that desperately needs WRs they get a guy for $6M per year (none guaranteed) and can just get out after one year if it doesn't work out. So for a mid to maybe late 3rd they get Miami's early 5th back so really what does this equate to, about a mid 4th? The only issue will be Parker being worth $6M per and I think it is worth it for them (not for teams with better WRs). The problem is NE is still very weak at WR and still needs to add there to competePatriots acquired WR DeVante Parker and a 2022 fifth-round pick from the Dolphins for a 2023 third-round pick.
The Patriots had been active on the trade market, checking in with the Panthers about WR Robby Anderson at the Combine. Parker had interest from the Eagles in addition to the Patriots but will stay in the AFC East. It's a good landing spot for Parker, as he wouldn't have been higher than the No. 3 option in Miami. Mac Jones doesn't offer much in terms of a quarterback upgrade, and the Patriots are one of the league's most run-heavy teams, but Parker has a clearer path to targets in New England. Parker, who has two years and $17 million remaining on his contract, may end up a one-year rental with only $2.7 million of his 2023 salary guaranteed.
Of course they believe that. Why wouldn't they. But the real question remains, who's willing to pay the price the Seahawks will ask for and then have to look at next year having to pay him.
Honestly, I’m sure a handful of teams would give up picks and pay DK. He is still youngOf course they believe that. Why wouldn't they. But the real question remains, who's willing to pay the price the Seahawks will ask for and then have to look at next year having to pay him.
I agree there are a handful but it has to be a team who hasn't already blew their wad this FA season and have at least one first left. Seattle won't let him go without getting at least a first this year plus something else.Honestly, I’m sure a handful of teams would give up picks and pay DK. He is still young
The Jets are always interested and desperate. They are rumored to an AJ Brown trade. Would you be happy if the return was a 2nd and 3rd for DK?I agree there are a handful but it has to be a team who hasn't already blew their wad this FA season and have at least one first left. I think not. If I was the Seahawks brass, I would at least want that 1st back we gave up for Adams plus maybe a 3rd next year. But honestly, I think the Jets would be foolish to part with all that draft capital when they aren't really close to contending. They have a lot of needs to address, imo.The Jets are always interested and desperate. Agree, they can get Wilson, London or Olave on a rookie contract along with a lineman. Would not be smart but they are the Jets. A 1st + mid round pick seems like a good return for DKI think not.
