Who could be a solid receiver for a team needing a possession guy.

Garoppolo and Mayfield are top 24 starting QBs in the NFL. Multiple teams have worse QB options. Waiting for the Draft to get a project will be incredibly risky. NOT trading for Garoppolo or Mayfield is going to get a GM or HC fired.

Neither is IMO. I think they both stink.

tricky thing with Baker and his fragile psyche. Let’s say a team can convince the Browns to give them a 5th to take Baker. He wouldn’t be able to handle it and you would then have a QB who is going to crash and burn worse than he did with Cle. Give up a 6th for him so he doesn’t have the stigma of being a guy you had to be paid to take. But honestly, I think he is a backup talent and will be by next year. Someone probably takes a chance on him in desperation this year but it’s not likely to work out.

.....but I believe the Browns could declare him a post June 1st cut and spread the hit over this and next year. The only benefit the Browns would have doing that is they would be stealing $11m from next years cap to gain $11m in this years cap.

Armstead is the VASTLY superior OL. Not even all that close. But he is going to cost a ton.

Collins is average at best. There is a reason there wasnt a real fight for him. Him agreeing to a very small 2 year $20M deal just shows that teams were "fighting" to give him a very measured contract. The deal is about 40% less than the best RT's in football make. Essentially signed a George Fant contract. He is a patch, not a piece. Armstead is a piece (but will also get paid like one).

I've always liked Duke too. Solid receiving back to be the third RB.
