Arizona had to forfeit a pick for talking to draft eligible players too early.

As punishment for enabling a r*pist who ruined a promising player, not disciplining team players for bullying the victim, giving the r*pist a letter of recommendation to work at a school where he then r*ped a child and covering it all up because they were in a playoff race - the Blackhawks get a generational talent.

At the end of the day, we shouldn't have been in the race at all if not for "Indian Burial Ground" level bad luck, so Carlsson or (if lucky) Fantilli will be better than we should have been getting. I feel like we should have been in the Ottawa/Pittsburgh pick range, maybe a playoff squeaker if a goalie got hot. I'm not that bitter about missing Bedard. It's just the absolute lack of consequences for Chicago that pisses me off to no end.
