It makes that bridge collapse in Maryland look like small potatoes.Well this has been one heck of a collapse.
It's not mathematically over, but it's over. We would have to beat four teams, all of which we've shown that we cannot beat. I don't think we can even win a single game. It is officially the worst time to have a losing streak and we go and lose 7 straight, the longest of the entire season. It's absolutely ridiculous.
I wouldn't be surprised if we lose 11 straight, then finish 7th in the Metro and 13th in the East, amazingly. I suppose it's good for our draft positioning and that's about it.
Idk, perhaps this is actually a tank job. I don't know what else to think right now. We're consistently leaving guys wide open in the slot and right in front of our net.
The friggin Pissburgh Pens are now ahead of us and the fading wusses in Philadelphia have lost number 7. In order to be a champion, ya have to have a champion's heart and this bunch has none of it!!
Lets go Boilers!!!!You still have time to get on the Boilermaker bandwagon !
According to todays standings the Pens didnt clinch and we still have a shot to sneak in.The Pens clinched spot 7 in the East in the playoffs! What a disgusting disaster!
Nah it's over man, it's hard to have faith in players that can't get it done against teams lower than them on the totem pole.If Hart was still on this team we would have clinched a playoff spot already.
That was the main factor of our collapse. Ersson wasn't ready to handle this amount of games and every goalie we tried to put out there to give him a rest was swiss cheese.
Its hard when you have to fight and scratch for every single goal and the one shot they take goes in time and time again.
Its not over yet though so keep the faith!!!
Maybe a cheap replacement for Deslauriers after next season.Flyers Sign Left-Wing Oscar Eklind to a One-Year, Entry-Level Contract | Philadelphia Flyers
The Philadelphia Flyers today announced the club has signed left wing Oscar Eklind to a one-year, entry-level contract beginning with the 2024-25 season ($950,000 AAV), according to General Manager Daniel Briere.www.nhl.com
Doesn't sound like people think he'll amount to much more than a 4th liner at the NHL level. But he's big and can apparently skate.
Reasons why the Flyers are out of the playoffs, ranked
The Philadelphia Flyers are most likely going to find themselves out of the playoffs and there are multiple reasons why, so we decided to rank them.www.broadstreethockey.com
Number 2 should be number 1.
UConn was clearly the better team. Had a good plan - one on one vs Edey and shut down our guards. Worked perfectly.Sorry Purdue Uconn was just to good for everyone this year. It would've been nice to see Edey win a title
