The Jackets are going to be a fun team to watch this year.
I hope Jiricek makes it or at least gets a callup.

I don't remember ever seeing so many top end plays at a WJHC before. Like just plain silly skilled plays. I was expecting Bedard to dazzle but guys like Zellweger, Edvinsson, Grieg, Cooley and Lysell impressed me.

And Cossa and Wallstedt are gonna be monsters in net.

I think from now on.

I think he should call the play

"McTavish Magnificent Save"

Hoping there is one from the other net of the McTavish save. Just haven't found it yet.

If he can't play it's only fair that Bedard sits for Canada.

A star from the Regina Pats is lighting it up, just like everyone predicted.

In all honesty, it's going to take some time for me to get invested in this tourney.

Sounds like Canada was trying a few too many "Michigans" tonight.

Yep, while Czechia was playing hockey.

Also, when someone tries a Michigan and hits the goalie in the face with their stick, that should be a penalty.

For the record, I have no issue with the Michigan, you have to possess a high level of skill to score on that move. The bigger issue as far as Team Canada is concerned is at the other end of the ice, we don't seem to be able to develop goalies any more. Not even the former goalie factory known as Quebec is churning them out like in years past.

The problem is Bell. Let’s talk. Sure it is a great cause on the surface and any lives it saves by preventing suicide is worth it. But when more and more people talk about mental illness and the stigma disappears and by nature there are less “crazy” people out there thereby diluting the potential goalie pool.
