Not terrible from Howard. No walks but 5 hits in 3 innings.

These aren't exactly the '27 Yankees that Howard is facing. Between this and him getting to pitch against the backups for the A's, he has certainly not faced much of a challenge to this point. I wonder if that is on purpose, so as to help his confidence.

no i would probably think that it creates a good situation of having extra available pitching but Moore has struggled the last few years and those struggles are still showing
