Figured the combine should have the privacy of its own thread.
No mention of Christian Watson running a 4.36 at 6"4"From gbnreport.com:
The first group of WRs have completed their 40 runs and we are still waiting for the official times, but at least based on the unofficial clockings it was a nice outing for Calvin Austin of Memphis who blitzed a 4.32, although he was actually hoping to get under 4.30. Penn State’s Jahan Doton (4.41) and Skyy Moore (4.39) also had good clockings, but they too were probably hoping to be faster. Meanwhile, Danny Gray of SMU may have opened a few eyes with a time of 4.33 as did kevin Austin of Notre Dame who posted a 4.37 unofficial time. On the other hand, it was kind of a ‘meh’ run for Arkansas’ Treylon Burks who had runs of 4.55 and 4.50. Not bad for a 225-pounder, but he was reportedly hoping for something in the low 4.4s. Also a disappointing time of over 4.60 for Purdue’s David Bell.
This guy is so good - they named the State Capitol city after him in South Dakota.RB Pierre Strong from South Dakota State University had a pretty good day at the combine.
I am biased, but I love to see the Bronos use a day 3 pick on him to complete and provide depth.
- 40 yard Dash - 4.37 - tied for the fastest RB
- Vertical - 36.00" - 6th best for RBs
- Broad Jumb - 10'4" - tied for 6th best for RBs
