No doubt! I hate inconsistency from governing bodies in sports. The Thunder Tank is epic and still going on. But don’t worry. I’m sure Adam Silver won’t step in and meddle with your front office firing your GM and making you hire a Colangelo. Different rules for different organizations.

Yep. The Suns know all about the tank as well. But only one team gets punished for something that at one time or another every team engages in.

Spin it however you want. For a 27 year old rotational player going into his 5th pro season to be talking retiring with the team is really premature. He's got Dort and eventually Dieng likely ahead of him on the depth chart. His ability to get another contract at 32 from the Thunder with all of those draft picks left to be used (either in trade or used) is certainly in question.

It's a great sentiment of course, but it's a weird thing to say out loud at his age and role.

Uno mas losing season Isn’t going to hurt OKC! Imagine if they got Vic, or Scooter next year…

OKC knows they have a chance to make a DYNASTY, hopefully they don’t fuck it up like they did with Durant/Westbrook/Hatden

You’re naive. The evidence is right in front of your face. Yearly there are anywhere from 3-8 teams actively tanking. One franchise has been punished. One. They didn’t get fined. They didn’t lose draft picks. They came in and blew up their front office. They fucking told them they had to hire Colangelo in an interim role and he turns around and hires his waste of sperm son to pull this shit.
