Not really.

They are the Lakers. A lot easier to rebuild in LA than most markets.

Yeah, sure. They will probably suck for a few years. But it won’t be long before they have a new core. And unlike most franchises, they don’t have to always rely on the draft to get the main pieces.
They went 10 years without a championship a few times - It's really a lot tougher than before - Jeanie Buss has done a pretty good job, but she does not have the genius mind that her had. I did love the photo spread of her in playboy - Before I saw them, I was wondering why she looked good to me - That money under the salary cap next year, however should in my opinion be used to sign a really good player that will be a good fit for Anthony Davis, be youg and capable of being a #1. I like Lebron, but he is edging toward the end of his career.

Yep, TLF. In today's NBA that phenomenon is called John Wall-ing.
Another sad end to what was once a really good player. I think Westbrick, however is still a good player and could be used to benefit the team in the right system. First regardless of if he didn't like it, should come off the bench with hopefully Carmelo Anthony - those two could run the bench and do what good bench does - run and shoot - Westbrick would then be able to get better totals than last year. He may not be the same player he was a few years ago though and probably never will

He's a still talented player who does not know his own limitations and refuses to play within them. Also if he doesn't give the kind of defensive effort needed.......

Oh no! 10 years without a title!

You are proving my point.

I am 44 and the Wizards only title came before I was born. Quite a few teams have never won one.

Regardless of how many future assets the Lakers give away, they will still be back on top before too long. It is proven time and again.

The 10 year droughts Laker fans are forced to endure are everyday life for most of us.

Damn, was a good pickup for the Celtics.

But, feels like Gallo gets injured every damn year.

Tough break @Gman @Wamu
First I'm hearing about it. Dang.

Doesn't seem like the type of injury he can just rub a little dirt in.
