If it’s part of the 3-team it’s going to be ALL about BKN. They want young players or picks. He worth less if you are maxing him out. Still on his rookie contract? Worth a hell of a lot more

The trade isn’t ideal and maybe Ayton just walks but then you get nothing for him. Include him in the trade where you dont have to give up 7-8 picks

If they are tanking they will flip DM now. They aren’t tanking with Mitchell and some nice pieces. I think the plan was move one of the two players: Gobert or Mitchell and they moved the guy with lesser importance.

Also, only way to grab Ayton is through trade.
