Yeah, even with the 1st rounder cap hold, the math doesn't work.

Maybe it's Danny, not Thybulle?

Send all 3 to Boston

Fits their tpe

My take on Beal:
He most likely takes the 5 year $250 million from Wizards. Only reason he moves is for a championship situation. The only team with interest that can make something palpable happen for Wizards is Philly with a Tobias Harris Maxey deal.

Do you think that would make the Sixers that much better

Nope. If you read a few more posts after the one you quoted you’ll see I’d much rather use the Harris asset to create more depth. Harden Beal Embiid is 3 guys who have never done anything in the playoffs. I don’t see it working. Beal Harden may also be the worst defensive back court in the league. That puts immense pressure on Embiid to be defensive player of the year taking away from his offense.

Definitely agreed on depth. If you could somehow flip Harris for some that would be ideal imo.

My wish list for Harris would be:
A 3 and D guy who can start and play 30 minutes at the 3 plus an athletic 4 that can guard multiple positions on switches and doesn’t need a lot of shots but when called upon can take 5-6 threes a game and shoot the league average of about 36% or better. If the Tucker rumor comes to fruition, there’s the 4 I describe plus you get a vet leader that brings a snarl the Sixers lack right now. That means the Sixers can afford to send Harris for the 3 and D type guy I covet as a wing to the tune of 10-20 million and that still leaves room for the Sixers to take on a contract or two the team dealing for him doesn’t want.

Yeah, it's crazy but they brought in $700 million this past year so even spending $400 mil they make a big profit, and of course the franchise has gone up 10x in value since they bought it just 12 years ago.

I think they're gonna just go nuts with it, re-sign Payton and Looney and extend Poole and Wiggins LOL

Feels like Porter won't be back but they need minutes for everyone so not a big deal

These are the kinds of owners every fan wishes for

Is that $700M revenue or profit though? There's a lot more cost to running a team and arena than just the cap costs.

The real money made in pro sports is seen in the valuation of the team. What did they buy for and what is the net worth of the franchise now?
