I like Mussa Diabate as a project. I'm sad to see him go to the Clippers; I hate to see him injured :pound:

(Sorry, @Mecca, but, you know, history)
High motor guy.

Shoot looks HOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRRIIIIIIIIIIIFFFFFFFFIIIICCC.

Aqua Calijente Clips the whole year.

We filled our 2 ways with a kid from Loyola Chicago who hits the 3 ball at 40% and one from Utah St that hit at 46 %.....up almost 20 from the previous years.

So, yeah....not counting on that being legit yet...lol

Well everything I read stated the Celtics needed a shooting guard and wing, I guess they went for the wing. Issue I have is it seems he is turnover prone not sure we need anymore of that.

This kid isn’t gonna see the floor unless disaster happens

He’s a 2-3 year project

Teams can hold a guy on a two way for 4 years

He’s 6-2.5

Hardly a midget

But I’m not a huge fan.

It’s basically gonna come down to can he shoot. Can he fix that shot?

I’m trying to decide which one of those things is the worst. Has to be the hair.

Can't tell how tall he is with his retarded hair.

Looks smaller.

He's a turnover machine.

...which you'd think would be something they'd avoid after the finals.

But, he is really athletic.

Kid has some nice blocks and great athleticism.

But, those turnovers....

He's still young.

I actually think Brad the executive has.done well.

You didn't need much.

I think the finals disappointment will serve you well.

You will be back.

He's Marcus Smart high motor, odd hair choices....

But, minus the substance.

You can't teach athleticism though.

4 years?

I thought it was 2.

We had to give both our guys qualifying offers.

This guy is 2 years away from being 4 years away.

So, I think you can sign guys with 4 years.or less of NBA experience to a 2-way deal for a max of 2 years.

He can go to multiple teams as long as he's at or under 4 years of service.

But, the max any 1 team can keep them is 2 years and then it's convert or catch and release.

Players with fewer than four years of NBA experience can sign a two-way contract with a team. However, teams cannot sign a player to a two-way contract for three seasons. The deals are limited to two years, and can’t include options.

I know the Celtics talked about bringing waters back for a third year on a two way

2 max for the same team.

I don't even think they can leave and come back if they've exceeded the 2.

I think the Clippers will keep Coffey on a regular deal.

But, ya never know.

And what I read is he cannot shoot. He is more a penetrating and kick it out type player. Now maybe the Cs pick up a FA shooting guard or draft one later.

Yeah. I mean probably some of the highest upside left

But yeah fit wise to the current roster is rough.

Ideally he’s playing 2 years from now and shooting 35% from 3.

That’s a playable asset
