We are less than 2 weeks to the draft so I thought it was time for a draft thread.

Thunder are going to rock this one.

Idk how high the thunder can get with 12 and 30, maybe 8 or 9.

But I keep reading they want to get back into the top 10

My guess would be for sharpe

They really like the shooter from Duke

I know Branham is considered one of the top shooters in this draft but he seems to similiar to LeVert and another SG to add to the mix. Eason is raw and young, not a great shooter but has potential. Then you have Agbaji who is the most NBA ready of the 3 and he can do it all but I don't think his ceiling is as high but I think he can be a quality bench player. It's not like you go into a draft expecting to find a future starter at 14 but certainly possible in this draft. I have mixed feelings

I probably just take Eason and gamble on him fixing his shot

He does enough else right to be worth it anyway

That is what I am hoping for at this point, just haven't seen enough of Eason

The more I look at this draft I see 2 potential superstars and they are Smith and Ivey. They seem to have the most upside compared to risk and are also probably the most NBA ready. I don’t think the rumors about the Thunder and Ivey are smoke.

Yeah but the Thunder have to take Smith. When you find a potential superstar that is raw, athletic, shooting ability and defensive potential at 6'10" like Smith...you gotta pull the trigger and I think they will take him. There is always smoke at this time, I'm sure OKC is still looking over all their options but they will float there way back to Smith

If the Thunder were to go with Ivey early I think Mark Williams from Duke is very possible with the 12. He is a project but the upside is there.

I’m pretty confident smith will go to Orlando but yes if he is there they will gobble him up.

Think the Sixers end up drafting someone at 23 and trading him away in a package with Harris, Thybulle or Green to try and improve the team. If not, I want them to grab an athletic 2 way guy who doesn’t project to be anything more than a role player. Don’t need to hit a home run here. Just need a rotation player that brings energy and plays hard.

I am betting Presti is talking to almost every team in the league at this point. The consensus around here seems to be that another year of tanking is needed but I’m not sure it will happen. Local radio folks here using Boston as an example and telling everyone what they did paid off and they didn’t rush it.

If they get Smith, pairing him with SGA will win games alone, you would think. Trading Dort is a little setback. If they could get a top 5 pick next season it would be huge. Or you could have one of those years where you improve but you get lucky in the draft. It takes luck to be great

Just don’t think we will get Smith Orlando is just putting out smoke.

Why do I keep forgetting OKC is at 2 :L

Yeah Chet is more of a development player so that makes a top pick next season more realistic
