Since you 2 are the newbies, you should know that when the draft is over and free agency opens up a day or 2 later, note that your waiver priority in this league rolls and does not reset each week. So once you use your waiver position, you drop to the bottom of the priority list. Just FYI

Well that changes a lot. Might just leave a couple roster spots open. At least I was able to grab a couple extra picks for some needed depth.

You'll still be able to add and drop players all offseason. Final cuts dont happen until just before the regular season. Obx is real good about notifications.
But waiver priority is almost as precious as a hyped rookie in these here parts.

Yes. All players go to the WW as soon as I complete the draft. Once they all come off WW (3 days I believe) all players then become FA until drop down period.

In the offseason, when a player is dropped, that player is on waivers for 2 days. If you want to use your waiver priority on him, that's your decision. If he goes unclaimed after those 2 days, he become a free agent.

Same here, a person could wait all season and not get to the top of the waiver order.

Plus, when you're on the bottom of the waiver order, the drop isnt that far. Wanna say that in the 5 seasons, a few players may have become week-to-week relevant on waivers. But if youre holding on to the waiver priority for the long-term gems.... crickets.
