Wild Cards because of injury: GSW, Lakers, Clippers (not that these 3 teams would be next- obviously a LOT of teams above the Lakers- its just so hard to judge these teams appropriately)

Obviously for the last couple decades (or more) the West has been the better conference. It has gotten closer in recent years and maybe even tipped over to the East.

This year- its a clear no-doubt answer. The East is better than the West.

When was the last time you could say that definitively?

The 3 best teams might be in the East.

Cleveland, Philly are very solid.

The 3 teams in the West with the worst record- the Lakers, SPurs and Rockets- used to be perennial contenders. Now they are at the bottom of the Western Standings. The Suns have fallen off. The Warriors have been injured and are getting old.
I know they won’t do it.

Because, getting a shot at landing Vic is worth another year of praying for ping pong balls…

But, the Thunder are a player away from really fucking things up for the 4-10 seeds out West.

Obviously, I’m not suggesting they can get to the WCF, let alone the Finals.

But, they could snuff a team or two who think they have a punchers chance.

As for the East vs. West….

I have it Boston, Bucks, Nugz….

I could easily be convinced to put Nets, Memphis, Cavs, 76ers, Heat next.

East is clearly superior.

If okc was a buyer, it would need to be someone who has a contract for at least next year or is going to be an rfa so they’d control his future

They have the players and draft capital to get in on any trade.

I don’t necessarily like any of these guys for them specifically, because of injury, age or attitude…

But, if they wanted to?

Beal, Collins, Trae Young, Zach….

All within reach.

The Guy I would like to see them get is Markennan.

But, don’t think they would do that without seeing what they have with Chet.

Maybe a Center?

But, not Ayton.

Hes a fucking disappointment.

This shows the development in Bam this year. Lopez used to give him trouble because of his size and bam didn't have that middy

I actually find pho, lac and lal and those likes the most intersting trade teams

Chicago is a big one.

They should make a Vuc and pieces for ayton type deal

Clippers need to admit they were wrong about wall and land Conley

The Sixers are nothing but a rumor and a failed promise until they show they can get out of the second round. They were a double doink away from the ECF in 2019 and in that time the Bucks Heat Cavs Celtics and Nets have passed them by.

Who was it that said after the Mitchell trade that Mobley doesn’t assert himself as it is and that this could quell the rate of his progress? Was that you @WiggyRuss or was that you @dtgold88 ? I can’t remember. Either way gentlemen…great call.
Wasn't me and not sure I agree.....don't need to be loud and/or a D to assert yourself. If scoring more is progress, sure, that wouldn't go up much when you add an elite scorer. While I would like to see another step up his D is still more than solid....especially for a 21-year-old. Wouldn't mind if he handled the ball less....or at least dribbled less.

He needs to hang out with a kobe like personality. He is too laid back and chill lol

The Cavs should look into trading him depending on what SF they could get back. He has a lot of value still imo
I'd consider any deal but trade him then we need a 4 as Love is a bench player now (and struggling with his shot).

There is no way you could deal Mobley.

There are probably not 5-6 more valuable players in the league right now.

Luka
Tatum
Morant
Jokic
Giannis
maybe Embiid
maybe Anthony Edwards (but prob. not)
Zion - probably

There are def. a good deal more guys I would rather have THIS year.

I mean, why would he practice layups or shooting at all when it isn't going to happen in a game-time situation? Makes sense

I think his D has been excellent. He dominated in the 4th last night with his defense. The only thing Allen and Mobley do is get off their feet too much, Allen does it all the time. Too impatient going for blocks

For me, it’s the Bucks.

If they land a shooter, Freak could get another ring.

He has time to get himself going.

But, Middleton has to play much better.
