5 years from now. Timing does depreciate the asset
Celtics aren't going away.
15-4 run...2 pt game.
40 sec. to go.
LA calls TO
Celtics playing without their best 2 bigs...
And they still finished a tough West Coast swing with a 4-2 record.
.
Helluva game. Thought when the Lakers erased that 20 point lead and were up double digits the game was over. Think by the end of the game both teams were worn out.
As soon as Lebron and AD refused to come out, you start seeing Lebron trying to rest on the court, with the ball. Stalling then taking a bad three. Bad transition d follows, then a bad turnover on the inbounds, etc. Lakers had that ball on their racket (much like the Celtics did earlier) and lacked the drive (or energy) to close out the game. Of course, with Russ still in the game some more questionable shots happen, and ultimately a gassed AD and Lebron miss FTs and we get OT.
Lakers need at least one more reliable piece that can hit a three (and preferably defend the 3). How soon can they get a deal done lol?
As soon as they put those picks on the table
Both teams managed to choke, lol. Tatum came up clutch and managed to carry the Celtics at the end as Lebron and AD were gassed after refusing rest (imagine that).
Pretty sure the Lakers options are limited but they gotta figure out a way to get LeBron & AD more help.
I can't stand it when Lebron holds the ball and takes a contested three when he's tired. Rest off the ball, not with it. Having a tired Lebron and AD dragging ass up and down the court and missing shots/free throws really hurt their chances to close out last night.

You must know more than I how that's on Darvin Ham and his coaching staff.
Also, Pat Bev's body language was awful at times late in the game (also tired?)
Especially after his clear open drive for a layup missed....he never made it back to play defense.
Both teams gave up a lot of transition hoops...but the Lakers gave up a few more that they shouldn't have seeing Boston was on their 2nd game of a b2b.
Anyhow...shit happens.
Hit the film room...make adjustments....move on.
More importantly...and sadly this goes for lots of teams.....Make. Your. Damn. Free Throws. FFS!
