Basketball wise you’re right but public relations and even Luka perception could be dangerous. What’s the media like around the Mavs? Simmons needs to go some place where he can get it back under the radar.

They were in the WCF last year. They dumped some good talent to get Kyrie. Might as well see what you can do with him before he is potentially gone next year.

Dallas is short on talent and gave up their best defender, just to fall back in the standings.

Might as well keep the pick.
