Celtics wrapped up the 2 last night. Bucks wrapped up the 1 seed. Sixers are locked into the 3. Cavs and Knicks series is already going to be a thing. Not sure if the Heat can still catch the Nets for the 6 seed. There will be a ton of teams sitting people to close out this regular season in the East. Personally, I’m a tad worried about Sixers rust early in their 1st round series. They could lose game 1 at home and still win a series vs the Nets in 5 or 6 though.

Sixers vs Heat tonight. If they want to play the Nets and not the Heat in round 1, the Sixers shouldn’t rest anybody tonight.

Heat can technically catch Brooklyn but need a miracle. Need to win out while needing Brooklyn to lose their final 2

If they can’t move up, yeah.

Sounds like I am in the minority.

I also have the Cavs as long as Allen is healthy and out there. Cavs haven’t been in full strength in any of the Knicks head to heads this year. Randle’s ankle won’t be 100% even if he plays. I think Mobley is built to cover that guy and that becomes even more pronounced in a 7 game series. Brunson may will them to a win or 2 as he has a good matchup vs Garland or Mitchell. I see Cavs in 5 or 6 but offer the caveat that I assume Cavs will be healthy. Thibs teams don’t have an extra gear defensively in the playoffs because they play that way all year round. Meanwhile, when playoff defensive intensity shows up, like everybody else, the half court O takes a bit of a step back.

Sixers can control this by playing vs Heat tonight and going for a win while also laying down vs the Nets later. I think Sixers should win in either series but the toll taken in a series vs Spo junk defense, the Heat’s tradition of playing animal ball when they don’t have the talent to match in a series plus playoff Jimmy says you would rather the Nets post blow up and rebuild.

Gonna be tough. NY seems to have more depth and shooting but depth means less in the playoffs. It seems like the Knicks are playing fine w/o Randle. Not sure if I can say better but they aren't missing a beat. The series worries me but I would rather play them than the Heat bc of playoff Butler.
