He isn’t.

Stats compare well with prime LeBron.

Impact on games doesn’t.

Defense isn’t there consistently. He used to be an elite defender also.

Lebron is still an incredible physical specimen.

I just have a hard time buyin that in this day and age with all they have to prolong careers , that he isn’t capable of doin what he did with a little less court presence

That is exactly what he is doing.

But a little less court presence combined with talent levels across the league being higher than ever equals less impact.

And that being said, nobody else in league history has been anywhere close to as good as LeBron is at age 38.

Most retire before then.

You got teams playing nearly 60 games before they got a week break.

In what world is this ok? To play 70% of your games before a real break doesn't make sense

I get that but maybe spread out the games a little more before the break. This why teams do load management.

Go back to starting the season in late October instead of mid October. There are ways where you can have teams play close to 50 games at the break instead of 60
