Just throwing this out here but do you think his commit to ASU has any indication of Egbuka possibly favoring UW so a spot not being there is the reasoning for his ASU commit?
Huskies are absolutely loaded at WR. They didn't need to take 3 this class. One of those spots were better utilized for Dline since it was very bare in that dept on the west coast last year.

So yes, at this point I think there will be only two WRs taken by the class if all goes to plan, and 1 of them already committed.

Every P5 program, including all the big boys, are going to offer him. And not just offer him, but make him one of their top targets. He's a prototype LT who will be a starter for 3-4 years and provide the type of protection that Trey Adams did.

The Huskies are going to competing against programs like Bama, LSU, Clemson, Ohio St for him. Im sure USC and Ducks will as well. Thus were going to have to really prove it in the field this fall that the program is going to get it done.

Losing out on the Michigan game sucks but a solid showing and upsetting the Ducks would do wonders. It's going to be a tough get UW has gotten some good recruits the past several weeks over some P5 power schools.

Agreed D-line is a priority but it would be nice to swipe this kid from OSU

I know I'm being a downer, but I wouldn't get too excited yet.

These are all rumors, but I heard the reason he decommitted to USC is because he was academically ineligible. Considering how much USC bends the rules, I'd be worried that he wouldn't get admitted to UW. I do believe I saw something on social media indicating that he would be taking a summer class, but I don't know how much of a difference that makes.

Personally I don't care about his academic performance and hope we land him, but there's a possibility that bureaucratic bullshit could get in the way of us being able to obtain him.

Looks like Bowers did visit Sesttle this weekend, but due to the recruiting dead period that's in effect till the end of Aug, he couldn't officially visit with the coaches at the stadium, etc....

But he did spend some time with Sam Huard and I'm sure he still got to drive around the campus and take a good look.

Appears he must be getting close as Georgia and Washington are his finalists.

Hope a WOOF is coming. He'd be a great addition to the class.

The H.C transition went smooth, but covid and the mediocre performance vs PAC last year really caused problems for the Huskies recruiting this year. We landed a nice class, but feels like we didn't quite get it done compared to USC and Oregon.
Even if we land the two monster gets of Emeka and JT to finish things off, the class is filled with some projects and just feels like we should be not having to go there as much as they did.

2022 recruiting is looking very promising, but this years class is not quite what we expected. Covid + a New H.C. really made it tough.
