Agholor by himself may not be as big a threat as other wide receivers in football, but in combination with the other members of New England’s offense could carve out a productive role as either a starting receiver from the X-position or a premier decoy.

This pretty well sums it up.

Maybe I'm jaded - I was a distance runner, I could do 4.5 minute miles for and hour 40 years and a hundred pounds ago, but I could never...NEVER beat anyone in sprints - but a 4.42 40 time just doesn't seem like a "Speedster".
The article makes repeated comparisons to Dorsett and Byrd who were 4.33 and 4.28 respectively.

Check this years top WR prospects. Most cant break 4:50. Top 15 only 2-3 in 4:40's?
The clock doesn't always tell the story.
Why could Dorsett not get open reliably? Straightline speed is not all that when it comes to receivers.....
We signed a player that gets open.....

Copy ALL of that.
And I understand 40 speed is not playing speed.

Hopefully he can both get open and catch.

He has shown he can do that. I don't see any of the top prospects being all that.
Most are big and can't get separation at NFL level. (sound like Harry?)
The rest are small and not that fast.
Does not look like a good year for receivers (early) Need to look deeper in the draft for sleepers.....

Tuesday was an interesting day for free agency.

Marcus agreed to take a pay cut to$3.5M that has incentives that could take it to $11.5M

Antonio Brown finally got himself a ring and said, "Thanks Tom" and signed with the Steelers.

Bruce Arians said that hewas going to resign everyone and win again. They've had to shell out a hell of are than expected and lost Brown and could Fournette. Amazing how differently people feel once they have a piece of jewelry. Suh finally got his and it looks likehe's headed to Tennessee.

Back to Marcus.....................The Raiders are not planning on keeping him. The well dried up with his old contract and the roster bonus. Now there are three teams supposedly interested. Eagles, Broncos and Patriots.

Marcus is staying in LV.

Only FA remaining are Flacco, Alex Smith, Gabbert that are worth more than a nickel.

I would take Smith before Marcus. But I don't expect BB to take any FA QB. I think he takes make or trades down for a QB later.

Where do you see Brown signed with the Steelers? I see this from an hour ago:

“Bucs haven't closed the door on Ndamukong Suh, Antonio Brown or Leonard Fournette”

Grandson told me that he signed yesterday.

Suh signed with the Bucs for $9M last night.

Fournette is still looking.

Might want to check your source.

ESPN's Jenna Laine reports the Bucs are "actively" talking with free agent Antonio Brown.

The same is true with fellow Bucs free agents Ndamukong Suh, Leonard Fournette and Ryan Succop. Brown hasn't been connected to any other teams, and the Bucs could be the only club willing to sign him at this point. 27 of Brown's 61 2020 targets came in two games, though all four of his scores came in the final three weeks of the regular season. Brown’s 10.7 yards per catch were his fewest since his lightly-used rookie year in 2010, but he was certainly good enough to be a part of this offense.

His incentives are all Not Likely To Be Earned (NLTRE) which means they don't count against this years cap.
A team willing to kick the can could trade for him.
I think I'd rather kick him in the can......

Patriots and Lawrence Guy have agreed that Guy will return. They are working on a 4 year contract similar to the one Guy signed previously with the Patriots.
