I can’t remember if I liked Jokic or Doncic. I like slows down assists.

Me too. I like slow down assists.

I think you should like both players. They are both great passers.

I was going on record, I guess. And I haven’t paid attention to Jokic except to know he’s an MVP candidate. That puts him ahead of Booker. So we can agree Denver is better since you pay more attention to them.

I don't know more than you. We are equals.

I just think Jokic + Porter Jr. > Phoenix's starting five.

Atlanta Hawks vs. Philadelphia Seventy-Sixers:

I think Embiid will play at some point, but probably not well. I don't think someone can be that great, especially on defense, with a meniscus tear.

Atlanta in 6.

Milwaukee Bucks at Brooklyn Nets:

I don't know what will happen since they haven't played each other at full strength. If Milwaukee wins, it will be because of their size.

Milwaukee has played better defense since maybe late March.

I think Brooklyn wins, but hope I'm wrong. If Milwaukee wins, they will need all 7 games.

Brooklyn in 6.

Denver Nuggets vs. Phoenix Suns:

Denver's two best players are better than Phoenix's.

Ayton has played better than I thought, so far.

I am taking this series pattern after 2005 Suns vs. Spurs:

Denver in 5.

Atlanta not able to pull away from Philadelphia in the first half.

They're keeping the game close, which is not good for a 50/50 game.

They are doing a good job making Embiid and Simmons work on defense.

And Philadelphia has 3 all defensive players? Lol.

Dallas vs. Los Angeles Clippers: Dallas because I am tired of LA’s resting players, feel they ranked to avoid Lakers, Lue is annoying to me, and they were so quick to trash talk about taking over LA before they did anything.

I'll point out one thing, about this.

I think this was more about trying to get more fans. They always have to compete with the Lakers for fans.

But, when they got their two stars, they want to attract more people to be Clippers fans. They have to create some hype, to do that.

So to me, this was more about trying to take some of the spotlight from the Lakers, then it was about talking trash about the rest of the league.

I do agree with you about resting players. One reason why I like Lillard and Gobert, is that as stars, they rarely rest.

Except for this year.:L

@MHSL82, what did you think about this?

That was a great game 7. Glad Milwaukee won.

Didn't think they would, once they trailed with a few minutes left in regulation, and again in OT.

@MHSL82, what did you think of Ben Simmons 13 assist, 1 steal, 5 points, 2 turnovers game 7, which ultimately was a loss by Philadelphia?

If this had been the Jazz, with the same statline, same game result, would you be happy?

Would I accept it? Yes, but Stockton averaged more than five points and is good for 13 or more assists. I didn’t see how many shots he took to get those five points.I think he offered his own humble brag when he without prompt asked how Trae Young shot. No matter how annoying Young can be in his celebration, I want a point guard who doesn’t point that out.

But if the Jazz signed him, I would support him.

It's not whether you would accept it, but would you be happy? As in, you thought that was an ok game by Simmons, and he couldn't do much more.

Or, would you say he could have done more?

Especially given it was a loss by a few points.

Do you have a link to an article or other media about what Simmons said about Young?

As for Young, he didn't shoot great, but he kept assisting too. And he shot 9-10 FTs.

Plus, Young has to shoot some, he has the range. And with Bogdanovic going 2-8, they needed one of their perimeter threats going.

The fact that Young both shot and assisted, and didn't let his poor shooting affect his playmaking, means he had a decent game. He kept his head in the game. I think he had an ok game, because he still assisted, and still made his FTs.

Young, Bogdanovic, Gallinari on the perimeter, and Capela, Collins, Huerter, and Young on the midrange or inside, is how they play. So they have to keep shooting a little bit from the perimeter, to keep things in balance.

Simmons went 2-4 from the field and 1-2 from the foul line.

He is also getting criticized for passing up a possible dunk to Thybulle, who wasn't expecting the pass.

People are saying his 0 FGAs in the 4th quarter of games is because he doesn't want to get fouled and miss FTs.

Saying I would accept it means that I don’t like it, but I don’t think that I would base my entire opinion on a player based upon it. Now if he shot 3 for 17 or something maybe I would, relatively speaking.

Scott Foster wanted the streak to survive, so that’s why they reviewed every avenue for Clippers win. Ironic that it would have worked against Clippers and now helped them.
