never in my life was I so disinterested in this day. This used to be like a mini xmas for me but with Benning at the wheel, I would rather just sleep through it.

man I miss Pat Quinn

I was disinterested from the start.

You know. As a hockey fan, It's a little kid at Christmas but today it kinda felt like the gifts were open a daily early.

Detroit has 12 picks in 6 rounds this draft.

They also have 20m committed in contracts beyond 2021. Yes, that's 62m in cap space. 10 of their free agents are RFA.

Stevie Y's gonna do some damage this summer.

we can help you with the cap space to defend against it. Just send us Horvat.

Seriously on a One-year deal why would you give a player a full NMC?

It is a head-scratcher especially when you consider that the teams lining up for Hall's services are likely serious contenders for the Cup. I have a feeling that the GM likely figured that the NMC wouldn't have to be used and it was likely an oversight.

/Hope for the best, but plan for the worst is a good strategy to use

Finally it is here! Trade deadline day! I hope the Habs sell sell sell! Should be a quiet day at work so I should be able to keep up with all the excitement!
