Broncos signed WR Josh Malone and ILb Avery Williamson to the PS. These are two guys I really touted to Denver in the years they were drafted. Both players have NFL experience, Williamson as a starter.

Btw, to make room for Josh Malone and Avery Williams the Broncos cut Harry Crider and Rojesterman Farris off the PS.

Jaylon Smith was pretty bad last year and started off bad this year... But it still surprises me to see him cut 4 weeks in. Figured he would be more of a player who was cut after this season. Must have been some personal issues there with him where they had to get rid of him now.

Yeah, no idea why they would cut him now, unless they just want more reps for their younger guys. I don't think they save any money now vs waiting until after the season outside of the game checks this year. Am I crazy, or should we be all over this?

Would depend on the money to me. Smith has not played well the past year and a half... For the right price I would be willing to give it a shot. Something tells me that Smith was an internal issue to be cut like this. I know he wasn't playing well but usually you don't see a guy being paid that much cut week 5 of the season unless he is a cancer and not playing well. Feels like one of those situations where Dallas just wanted him out, tired of dealing with him and his he wasn't producing what he was being paid. If he was a good dude they would have waited until after the year. I would entertain it with a fresh start for him at the right price.

Sadly, it appears to me Baron Browning isn't going to make an impact this year or at least anytime soon. That doesn't mean he won't in the future but he has battled through some injuries.

Smith’s contract was guaranteed for injury for 2022 when he was scheduled to make $9.2 million in base salary and count $11.8 million against the salary cap.

Dallas was afraid he’d be injured this year and they’d be on the hook for $12 M.

He could be "looks like" such a loser. Stayed in Ohio after the game instead of coming back with the team. Unless he had a family emergency , calls into question his basic judgement and dedication to the team success.

Oh yeah and Darby designated to return off IR. Means we still have to activate him but he can now get back to practicing. He and Boone are both eligible to play now but would have to make a roster spot for them. FYI we have 5 WR's on the PS... Spencer may not play this week which would mean Cleveland would likely take his spot.

I feel bad for Trevor Lawrence. Dude has all the makings of at least an above average NFL QB and he got stuck in Jacksonville under a coach that hadn’t spent a single day coaching at the NFL level.

Talk about setting your #1 pick up to fail. Hopefully next year they get him a coach that knows how an NFL team should be coached. Even more hopefully, Pat Shurmur will be available for them. Not saying they should hire Shurmur, just hope he’s a free agent coach.

Well, hopefully Darrell Bevell is doing most of the coaching/developing with Trevor Lawrence because he is their o cord and he is very good with QB's. Either way Trevor Lawrence needs a better NFL HC.. I said that and I am a Florida fan who saw Urban win two national titles with Florida... Not the biggest Urban fan as a person and I don't think the NFL is for him.

The Ravens are a pretty good team, in watching them they do not seem to be that good. They are flat out whoopin teams, so they must be that good. Currently up 34-6 against the Chargers.

We have added Vikings EDGE Stephen Weatherly. A guy that Dr Cyanide and I were high on coming out. Hasn't really turned out like we thought but still should get his chance to break through here if he is going to. Swapped 7th round picks with the Vikes. They get one from us this year, we get one from them next year. So essentially a free trade in the grand scheme of things. Paton brings over another Viking.
