This is why you take Cox
Yeah. A little odd but take a step back and look at what we ended up with and not what order we took them in and it looks pretty good. If it helps think of it as Cox at 75 and then the 3 from yesterday. I don't mean you I mean all of us.Would have made more sense to take Cox yesterday instead of the Beaver if the draft room was so relieved to get him here.
A 2nd round grade and they wait until 4?I don't believe a lot of what the teams says after we select a guy but I do believe it when we see things like this. They may lie and say we got the guy we wanted all along to make it seem like we wanted who we took even if not true, but to lie about the round we had him graded in isn't something I think they'd do
I think this guy is so multiple that he is going to make an impact for us and we are going to look back at this as a great move

There were zero safeties taken this round until this Mizzou kid. Did you want him?Still should have drafted a safety.
They should have drafted one in the 3rd round. I would have drafted Washington from TCU.There were zero safeties taken this round until this Mizzou kid. Did you want him?
Goes back to what I said leading up to the draft. We see the need, but the FO just can't see safeties as anything more than cheap replacement level parts. IDK why, but it's been this way for so long. Here we are, 5th round, where I figured we would start looking at them. They should have drafted one in the 3rd round. I would have drafted Washington from TCU.
