thats why I like you Jarntt
You have optimism.

This just feels like throwing spaghetti at a wall & hoping it sticks.
I think we drafted 2 starters and two niche guys who will contribute. Add a couple more contributors and you have to be happy. If it were me I would have used the picks to move up and try to get a 3rd 2nd round player, but who knows who we liked. What makes me happiest about this draft is none of these picks seem like Jerry picks so I think it is totally the scouts

This one...I'm not sure. Hope it isn't a windy day or he may end up in the stands
I know literally nothing about him

We're doing what the Patriots do, pick guys on no ones radar two rounds before they could go.

I don't get this one. If you really liked the guy I'm fine with it, but it reeks of Quinn saying he likes big corners and we just take one that physically fits the mold regardless of what the player showed. It's like a Marinelli pick and we know all of those often turned out not so great. Someone is going to need to be held accountable for this pick good or bad. I'd love to hear their thoughts on this one

This is exactly why I wanted to bundle our picks to trade up. I think we do well early on but after that I start to wonder. Would love to go back in time and trade pick #99 and use it to move up with one of our other picks and maybe get a little more quality.

Let's just go with this and think that just because none of us knows Wright (or at least I don't) maybe he could be a player

I've never heard of him before, so I've been digging since the pick was made. It gets worse the more you dig. Athletic profile is bad. Physically weak and a drag tackler. Went the juco route and played several years at OSU, so he's not young either. Has a 49 second highlight video on youtube with 15 seconds of pump up and shows 4 ints, none of which look impressive. We may have just drafted a guy who may not have gotten a call post-draft in the 3rd round. Whomever beat the desk for this one needs to leave.

Yep I think the last two couldn't been picked at least a round and maybe 2 rounds later.

I love how you type in a google search, player name followed by pff. Takes you to a player page that to me looks like it was just created, due to said player just getting drafted. There is zero information other than size, college and pro team draft info.

Top 100 pick.
