People are overthinking this Mac Jones thing. Pats have 2 TEs. Can run RPOs. Guy is going to Alex Smith it up in New England and do alright.

Yah I think so too... the Patriots run a very tight scheme and require a QB to make quick reads/throws that are already setup based on the play selection. Mac Jones is not an improvise QB... but I don't think the Patriots need that immediately... they need someone that follows a specific scheme and can look for the route that's immediately dialed up (which usually works with the Pats style).

Having nice stats doesn't mean you'll translate to the NFL. Tim Tebow was one of the greatest college QBs in NCAA history. He was out of the NFL pretty quick.

I made a comment earlier on the NFL boards that the two best DEs were LBs in this draft. I'm not convinced that Collins and Parsons wont end up at Edge at some point but that is one heck of a position flexibility.
