They should stipulate in all NBA players contracts...

unless a catastrophic injury occurs and surgery is required , a player can only miss 5 games a season or their contract will be void.

Problem is players aren't signing with Milwaukee so if they want to remain a title contender while Giannis is there then this move had to be made. He's probably the 3rd option in terms of shots attempted but he is really the 2nd best player. Middleton is the problem and should be traded within the next year or so if they don't make the finals this season

They can’t trade Middleton though. He isn’t an asset because of the contract.

At least, it is very unlikely they make their team better by trading Middleton.
