I mean, it's basic economics. The WNBA doesn't bring in anything close to the revenue of the NBA, so the pay is obviously not going to be the same.

A WNBA franchise is estimated to be worth between $17 and $35 million dollars. By comparison, the Memphis Grizzlies, the least valuable NBA franchise is worth $1.35 billion.
Yep...not a fan of his but he's not wrong at all.

James and AD missing games may turn out to be a nightmare for the rest of the League....when they come back they'll be fresh for a playoff run.

Kuzma had a great game last night. 30 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists. And THT showed he was worth holding onto with 15 points and 4 steals off the bench.

Yeah.

I am all about supporting women’s sports. I think the USA women’s soccer team has a beef. The WNBA not so much.

But Rapinoe isn’t totally wrong either. Most of the decision makers in charge of investing in these leagues are men.

I don’t think it is possible for the WNBA to ever be anywhere near equal footing with the NBA no matter the investment, but I also don’t think the playing field is ever going to be level in terms of opportunity for the WNBA to flourish.

Agree. The Women's soccer is an outlier, but yeah, they should definitely be getting what the men do, maybe even more.

I know many WNBA players play overseas when they aren't playing for their WNBA team and make considerably more. Imo, they should spend less time worrying about things like pay inequity and concentrate on growing the leagues brand. If they do, maybe they can grow to at least close to how is overseas?

Honestly Leonard career may not be over. He had shoulder surgery before his comments and was already going to miss the season

Yeah, that surgery may work in his favor. He'll be out of the spotlight and people will forget about him. Then, some team will likely quietly sign him.

And that's what scares me. A 100% recharged LeBron will be bad news for Lakers opponents.

What are you babbling about?
That Drummond fellow who was so badly needed to start at C with Lebron and AD out. Figured you followed your own team...and your own comments.

Never called him AD 2.0 and gloating over a player who got hurt is pretty sad.

Never said you called him AD 2.0. I called him that as he is the 2nd AD on your team. Seemed obvious but always happy to help you out.

Who is gloating that he was hurt? I mean, they had some good games before he arrived, too. Just pointed out the fact a guy who isn't playing for his own stats had a nice game for your team.

Making shit up I think is more sad....but you be you.

The Lakers are 5-5 in their last 10 games.....playing better as of late as they get used to AD and James being out.

Meanwhile, the Cavs still suck with Allen, Sexton, and Garland. 3-7.
