The Thunder really suck at tanking.
Hell I think we told SGA he had plantar problems and now Dort might have a slight concussion. We go trade for a guy i never heard of named Svi Mhailiuk and he and a 19 year old named Moses Brown have taken over. Can’t make guys fighting for their nba lives tank, you just have to find worse players lol.

So wait, Meyers Leonard kills off his entire career for using a word during a video gaming session yet KD almost gets a pass for continually using anti-gay and misogynistic slurs in a blatant aggressive attack?

Seems legit.

True.

Although a much different situation, It is the same concept as Colin Kaepernick.

If Russel Wilson or Patrick Mahomes had taken a knee during the anthem, it wouldn’t have affected their careers in the slightest.

The better you are, the longer the leash for off court stuff. If Leonard were a better player he would face a slap on the wrist too.

Yeah Maledon, Pokuchevsky and Brown are all 19. I think the other 2 starters in that one were Roby and Dort both at 21. SGA is only 22 and Bazley is 20. This team won’t be mentioned in tanking discussions.
The Blazers could have gotten a glimpse of what they may have had in Brown with their frontcourt injuries. They essentially picked a roster spot for the worst player in the league over him, Blevins, who is...apparently a close friend of Dame's?

Honestly Leonard career may not be over. He had shoulder surgery before his comments and was already going to miss the season

Don't know how many of you saw it, but the Ladies in the NCAA Tournament tonight put on a damn show. Skipped the NBA games tonight to watch that and wasn't disappointed at all.

I mean, it's basic economics. The WNBA doesn't bring in anything close to the revenue of the NBA, so the pay is obviously not going to be the same.

A WNBA franchise is estimated to be worth between $17 and $35 million dollars. By comparison, the Memphis Grizzlies, the least valuable NBA franchise is worth $1.35 billion.

Yeah.

I am all about supporting women’s sports. I think the USA women’s soccer team has a beef. The WNBA not so much.

But Rapinoe isn’t totally wrong either. Most of the decision makers in charge of investing in these leagues are men.

I don’t think it is possible for the WNBA to ever be anywhere near equal footing with the NBA no matter the investment, but I also don’t think the playing field is ever going to be level in terms of opportunity for the WNBA to flourish.
