Just tank your way to a buyout so you can join a stacked team...woo hoo Blake you POS

I dont hate Lamarcus...hes a pro but at most a team should be allowed one buyout signing if this is going to be the trend

Yea multiple buyouts is a bad look

At some point you have to ask yourself if anyone has any pride anymore. It’s that bad.

We are talking about LaMarcus Aldridge here.

He is well past his prime. Still a good player, but let’s not pretend that he a huge difference maker on a league average team.

He is a great 4th option, but this move is closer to David West than Kevin Durant.

No need to criticize Aldridge here. He wants a ring. He is not a star anymore.

There needs to some rules.

Like perhaps a waiver system that doesn’t just allow the player to be an unrestricted free agent with a paid salary who is prepared to sign for peanuts.

This. It would be one thing if it's like a JJ Watt deal where he is re signing a new deal but to be able to stack buyouts on one team sucks for competitive balance.

I think LaMarcus would've kept playing for the spurs. Whereas blake was playing so poorly he was a net negative on a bad team... suddenly he is a useful contributor? Gtfo with that shit. That kinda of behavior shouldn't be rewarded

I’m not criticizing Aldridge really, it’s the system as much as anything. I guarantee you none of those guys give any of this a second thought and they would just say well look at what the Lakers did.

I think it is a bit early to say that Blake or Aldridge are useful contributors, especially in the playoffs.

Hard to say a player is valuable when the Sixers aren't missing a beat without him
I hope they don’t give it to him. That would be best case scenario having a motivated pissed off Embiid going into the playoffs.

Aldridge went to Brooklyn. That team is buying their way to a title.

So trash.

This team is basically cheating their way to a title....The basketball gods need them to not win this title
Dude didn’t Miami buy a few with Bron and Bosh? You can’t hate the player when you guys also have played the game. I would love for my squad to be a destination city with NBA FA like Miami LA and NY. Not in the cards.

This. Bring on that ragass crew with DeAndre Jordan Blake Griffin and LaMarcus Aldridge trying to hold down the 5. Just one more Bitch for Embiid to post.

Miami team wasn't close to as loaded. They actually made very few in season acquisitions ever during his 4 years there. Wanting everyone in the buyout window is lame

Miami would struggle. They basically would have to pray Chalmers, Ray, and Mike hit everything. Brooklyn big 3 would cancel out Miami's big 3

Any chance anti Lebron sentiment is involved here?
