The Spurs just ain't that good. Plus, they were missing some players. Kinda hard to tell your team to not win against a team they should beat.

Yep....the players on the court don't tank.

No it isn’t.

I like to give young rookies a bit of a pass in year 1.

The NBA ball is a lot different in terms of feel from probably anything he has used before. Takes time to adjust and that can get in a kid’s head.

If he is still shooting poorly in year 2, then we have problems.

are the assists way down because he doesn't pass or he just doesn't have the ball enough or gets it late in clock to make a pass?

Isn't like I was against taking him at time of draft. Just could not understand the angst at this point of not taking him.

He is playing with 2 extremely ball dominant guards. His role right now isn’t to create.

But yeah, I would not say that I have seen anything to warrant suggesting he should have been taken ahead of Okoro. Not yet at least.

and I'm certainly not sure Okoro was the right choice. Might be another example of a narrative a guy keeps no matter what he does. For him, narrative was stud defender. at 20 no way I'd say he wont be and you definitely see flashes. But the kid has his struggles. Yeah, sure, a lot of that is he's 20 and often covering the elite of the elite.

Tough comparison IMO. One guy is the 3rd option roughly (maybe even 4th) while the other is the clear #1 playing with a lot of mediocre players. Of course his numbers will be better.

SGA had AS #s for sure but the commissioner decided to reward the best team with another AS. Not mad at it

The Kenny one that aired tonight was even better I thought. It spent more time with Kenny and really showed what a nice guy he is. The EJ one, while good, didn't spend all that much time with him and seemed more just about the whole vibe of the show.
