Taking 8 seconds to slowly dribble away from the basket into a step-back 3 over the outstretched arms of Giannis is terrible, terrible offense.

JT and the C's got lucky there.

Like I said, I'll take it and I'm happy for the W... but as @The Q would say... that's bad process even though we got a good result.

@WiggyRuss how much do you think Sexton averages this year? I’m going 24-25 ppg. 27 tonight and he wasn’t even driving much to the hoop, looked like an easy 27. Crazy

personally id rather have him average 5-8 assists and score 18......but no doubt the kid has real NBA talent.

maybe just let SExton be a pure SG---- and let Garland be the pg?

I do have to say---- Drummond, Love and Nance is a legit NBA front court. McGee and Windler as depth backups is not bad either.

Yea, it was a good game. Closer than it should have got down the stretch. Rozier was on fire lol....I wasn't very impressed with Lamelo Ball's first game. Jordan must have been high on him tho

The Cavs pick Okura looks very good, glad he dropped to 5

Okoro is going to take a some time to develop--- hes really young and raw....but damn. His athleticism and work ethic and talent just jumps off the screen.

Him and Sexton look like guys you can start to build around.

I still think they need that GUY though....maybe the upcoming draft they get THE GUY and then need a couple years to develop and gel and then turn into something. Its not going to be fast.

one of the best teammates and work ethic in the league

its not a coincedence that hte Cavs are really focusing on getting good guys that have great work ethic...SExotn, Okoro, Nance etc....

13 boards, 13 points, 8 assists, 3 steals, 2 blocks is a nice little stat line to start the year.

5 assists for Sexton tonight, if he can keep that up with the efficiency and scoring...I mean, that would be incredible but Garland is more of the pure PG. Yep the depth looks good, actually pretty good at the 2 and 3 too
