Heat 2nd half schedule looking nice!!!

Was looking at a few today.

Many East teams have played very few division games.

For the Heat, that is a good thing. For teams like the Knicks it is very bad. The Atlantic is by far the strongest division.

The standings won’t be so tightly bunched by season’s end.

Warriors schedule not looking too bad either.

3 games against the Pelicans
3 games against the Grizzlies
2 vs Kings
3 vs OKC
3 vs Rockets
2 vs Washington
2 vs Atlanta

Plus games against the T-Wolves, Mavs, Bulls, Cavs.

Definitely a favorable schedule.

Yep i didn't look at Boston schedule yet but if Miami make a move or 2 and stay healthy enough, i think they have a great chance at finishing top 4 out East

Oh really? Name a player besides LeBron who can get a team to the finals without significant help. I'll even help you, Olajuwon. That's pretty much it (Iverson had the GOAT coach)

And would LeBron had gotten a team to the Finals without significant help if he had been in the Western Conference?

The NBA has by far the hardest all-star team to make (and the easiest hall of fame). Only 12 spots for 15 teams. Every year there are many deserving snubs.

Trolls often get caught in contradictions. He was hyping up all the Cavs players and when I said "I guess they might be a borderline playoff team then" he reversed and said no they suck. Our favorite troll Dorian posted about how Harden should have easily won the title last year with Chris Paul, and then minutes later on how he'll never win a ring.

Wiggy has his agenda and it blinds him, so yes he is devaluing the Cavs with his endless Curry critique.

I'm just amazed how important it is to some people that their opinion about some player be right, such as "Harden sucks" or "Curry isn't that great". I care very little whether a player on the team I root for is universally lauded or not. I just care about the team winning. That's why it didn't bother me when people were criticizing the Warriors for signing Durant. The team won. I don't care what that move did to the supposed legacies of those players in some people's minds.

8.5 seems like a lot of points for the defending champs to be getting against anyone.

I agree but people never spoke about bam because of the heat record which is the bigger point. When you consider Bam defense, he's probably more deserving than Vucevic & randle. He's around 20,10, & 5 while playing at an all nba defense type level but no way can he make the all star game because of the heat record lol

Like I said, many deserving snubs. If Vucevic or Randle were left out then they would have just as much reason to complain

Remember thinking Sexton might make it....until I saw the first round of voting. a ton of great guards. and that's just in the East.

Thats true but still missing my point. Point is Bam was an afterthought because of the Heat record but other team out getting 2 all stars with almost an identical record. Watching these national shows you never heard Bam even mentioned as a possible reserve pick. You would think he took a major step back when in reality he is having his best regular season of his career

I just saw an ESPN NBA spot that actually used the term, "Clippers Nation". What kind of bizzarro world do I live in where that can show up on my TV without being total satire on something like Saturday Night Live!? Have we sunk so low?

I don't disagree. But that's simply how it's set up. Only 12 allstars.

Everyone has different things they care about. Some are purely rooting for laundry, just want to see their team win, don't care if the players are likeable (or if they had someone murdered....looking at you Ravens fans). They don't care about legacies or player drama. For others, the players are the draw, they like seeing great players do great things, and legacies matter to them. Some are both (like me).

And then some are just here to battle with other posters, and shit on their teams. And that's perfectly fine too, this place would be very boring if every post was "oh yes they are good and oh yes your team is good too"

Good thing you put that smiley at the end or I was gonna literally dive into the computer and come out on your side and smack you one.
