That article with the on off stats has to be taken with a giant grain of salt. That article is basically suggesting that the Warriors would be one of the very best teams in the NBA by simply cutting Kelly Oubre. That a Klay-less Warriors team is one of the best in the NBA is a little hard to believe.

Also, there's another stat that shows that the Warriors highest net rating for a 5-man lineup includes Oubre.

That's all I've been saying. Oubre is not great but he's not useless, and can be very helpful especially on the second unit. When Wiseman is back a starting 5 of Curry Dray Wiseman Wiggins Oubre isn't bad.

Of course tonight is as much about the Mavs playing shitty D as Oubre being a 40 point level scorer.

Definitely useful for guarding star wings. He bothered a lot of shots tonight like he usually does with that 7'3" wingspan. The Warriors have the 8th best defensive rating in the NBA, and I'm guessing Oubre contributes to that.

That is some serious length, and then you bring in more length off the bench with Bazemore and Looney. Wanamaker isn't athletic, but he's pretty big for a PG, big enough that they can play Steph and him together.
