George significantly better/more valuable than Gobert.

Yeah it’s the typical union thing, the truly top guys are underpaid but there aren’t many of them.

That can't be true. It makes zero sense to trade Siakam for Harden. Wtf are you gonna do with Lowry, Van Vleet and Harden? And you give up your young all star for a guy that's gonna leave in 2 years (no way he stays)? Someone made this up or they got confused on the details

Yeah that’s a crowded backcourt but Lowry’s probably gone after this year regardless. Maybe they move him a year early, even as part of a three way deal so the money works.

I know Lowry is 34 and the Kawhi gamble worked beatifully. But you really didn’t lose anything there that Kawhi couldn’t replace but better.

If I am a Raptor fan, I would rather have Lowry + Siakam + whatever else they would be losing than Harden.

The thing is what you just said could be said of pretty much every tram. Harden is trash, all he does is ensure playoff losses.

But you really do have to build a team around his skillset to build a contender. It is really difficult to fit a player like him into an already existing team concept.
